“They [Tom Cairney and Sasa Lukic] are back in training with the team, we are going to take a decision.
“Probably one of them is going to be too soon, even if they had a good session this morning. But we have to assess them tomorrow again and have to take a decision. It is nice to have them back there with their team-mates and looking good, but you have to take a decision”.
“He [Cash] trained the last two training sessions and he is feeling good, and he is coming back.”

“There are 38 matches and we must be consistent, starting in August and finishing in May because through the Premier League you can play in Europe with the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
“Of course, to get a trophy, is maybe more difficult in the Premier League than other competitions, [such as the] FA Cup, Carabao Cup or Europa League, but how we can feel consistent, how we can get our challenges in 38 matches to get our first objective through Premier League is the priority.”
“Granit [Xhaka] more or less trained fully this week, so he’s available for selection. It won’t be the case for Berto [Bertrand Traore].
“Next week, he will rejoin the group and might be available soon.”

“That’s why we have a meeting with the Premier League and Uefa before the season, to make sure everybody is aware of the protocols.
“You have to go case by case to decide what is the best option.”
“I don’t know. I do my job.”
Arteta says Arsenal”have to live in the present” and cannot dwell on the dropped points against Wolves.
“We have to wait till tomorrow, there is a little possibility that they are available.”

“We have got to be balanced in terms of not getting carried away if we win games or don’t come away with the three points.
“Games are tough in this league and a lot of the performance was in the control and how we went about this game. Scoring a late goal is a big positive.
“It is an important point for us. Of course, we wanted to win the game, but it is not all negative.”
“Mason [Mount] is getting closer, we have been patient with him.
“We don’t want to push anything. We want him back and fit. He is getting closer, which is good for us.
“Mat [Matthijs de Ligt] is working towards it, he is a bit behind Mason.”
“Part of being at this club is we understand what it is like globally and the responsibilities we have.
“I can only speak from my experiences, I have been here for a long time with various managers, various staff, all backgrounds, different backgrounds and it is something I am fully aware of.
“I am proud of what the clubs stands for.”

“In this particular moment with 10 injuries, we trained with 13 players. It is what is is. It’s not fantastic, beautiful but 13 we will have and it is quite enough to achieve what we want on Sunday.”
“Probably no, Solanke has some problem with his throat but he made two days training. All the others, some are next week.”
“I didn’t enjoy because I’m not here to enjoy. I’m here to work. It’s the first moment and there’s work to do. It’s a privilege to be here.”

“I think Sir Jim has made a statement, external and the club has made a statement, external on the back of it.
“For me to add to that is not my place. Enough has been said in that regard. I have been around this club for many years, we make a huge impact globally and we are responsible for that.
“Throughout the years as a player, a member of staff, a supporter, we are really proud of the culture we have at the club, and equality and diversity and respect for each other is something we look to carry forward every day.”
“I said the week before. Not for where you were born or for the colour of your skin make us better or worse. There is a lot of work still to do. It is in the society, it is not [just] in football. Racism is everywhere. You pretend that racism is just for the colour of the skin? How you behave is racism. It’s how you pretend you are better than the other one just for many reasons.”
On how to improve the situation?: “The schools. Pay a lot to the teachers. That’s how you deal with it. In the schools, not in football. The teachers and the doctors have to be the best, the most important people in society, by far. Not the managers.”
“We have a lot of months with no midweek days off, playing every weekend and midweeks.
“I don’t have to run one metre so for me it is not a problem. After one or two days I sleep well, it is enough. For the players it is really good. They have one or two weeks to rest – this one and the next one – to forget and train good. They trained good the last two days.”
“Seventy per cent of the players are new, so they don’t have the experience to live in these kinds of situations.
“An experience is to win tomorrow. It is only one.”
