Brentford have slapped a £100M price-tag on Ivan Toney as the striker nears a return to action this month, according to the Independent.

Toney has been subject to a move away from the Bees with Arsenal and Chelsea keen of his services.

The 27-year-old, whose eight-month ban from football ends in eleven days time, signed a five-year deal when he joined Brentford from Peterborough in August 2020, but has yet to agree a new contract. Toney has 18 months left on his current deal.

Despite ongoing rumours about his future, Brentford head coach Thomas Frank says he expects the 27-year-old to stay in west London this month.

Elsewhere, a number of Premier League sides have been offered the opportunity to sign former Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

The Brazilian, who joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli last summer having spent eight years at Anfield, is understood to have been offered to Fulham. Marco Silva’s side are believed to be looking for another striker in January.

Chelsea and England midfielder Conor Gallagher, wants to stay at Stamford Bridge despite being linked with a move away, the Mirror reports.

The 23 year-old has been linked to a move to fellow Premier League rivals Tottenham, but the play-maker reportedly would prefer to stay in west London.

And finally, as per Sky Sports, Aston Villa are showing interest in signing ex-West Ham winger Felipe Anderson on a free transfer in the summer.

The Lazio player is free to speak to clubs outside Italy this month about a pre-contract agreement.

The 30-year-old has scored 20 goals and has 23 assists in 123 appearances since re-signing for Lazio in the summer of 2021 from West Ham.
