Live updates from across the Premier League as seven teams battle it out for the final European places.
A result that did not matter to either side and ultimately to no other teams, given Liverpool’s failure to win against Brentford.
Sunderland have done it! It’s full time here at the Stadium of Light, and Regis Le Bris side become the fifth newly-promoted club ever to qualify for Europe at the first time of asking. Chelsea can only watch on as Le Bris’ side celebrate European qualification. Xabi Alonso will arrive in West London next season with no European football to play, but it’s the Black Cats’ day. Sunderland are Europa League bound!
A huge loss for Brighton but they could still be in Europe yet if Liverpool Brentford stays the way it is.
A brilliant turn and finish from Foden, who rifles into the top of the net for City.
However, VAR determines it was offside and it will not count. The replays on the big screen appear to show that he is in fact onside, promoting a furious reaction from fans and players.
There will be ten minutes added time here at the Stadium of Light, and 10-man Chelsea really have to go for it here if they are to still qualify for Europe. As things stand, the Blues are set to miss out.
The season is quickly drawing to a close and it looks like Chelsea will be missing out on Europe.
Brentford are set to finish ninth.
Schade levels for Brentford from a header and as things stand Brentford will finish ninth!
Watkins fires home a second Villa goal. The flag goes straight up for offside but VAR allows the goal to stand by the finest of margins.
It comes just a couple of moments after Silva was substituted off. The City captain received a guard of honour from both players, leaving Guardiola in tears, as he said goodbye.
Things have gone from bad to worse for Chelsea here, just when the West London side looked as they could get something from this game. It’s a second yellow for the Frenchman as he brings down Isidor just outside the Chelsea penalty area.
A huge goal in the race for Europe.
Curtis Jones is the one to score it, if City get another now Bournemouth will be playing Champions League football.
The game is poised at 1-1 and currently Bournemouth are on track to finish sixth!
Since Bruno’s third the game has only been going one way.
Mbeumo has broken in behind on numerous occasions in the second half but is yet to make his chances count. Not looking good for Brighton.
Things could get interesting here. Is that a message to Thomas Tuchel from Cole Palmer? The Englishman receives the ball on the edge of the box and strikes one low and hard toward the bottom corner. Roefs gets down well, but is not able to stop Palmer’s effort as it squeezes into the bottom corner. It’s game on here at the Stadium of Light.
And Sunderland double their advantage not five minutes into the second half. A lovely team move sees Le Fee square the ball across goal. Gusto is there to clear, but the Frenchman gets it all wrong and bundles the ball into his own net. Sunderland are within touching distance of European football now!
The goal stands.
Three goal advantage for United and Brighton now truly relying on other results to qualify for Europe. They are still 8th as it stands.
Bruno Fernandes has the ball in the back of the net and wheels away in celebration, but the flag is up.
It looks close though, VAR will have a look.
Bad news for the teams hoping that sixth place could be enough for Champions League qualification as Aston Villa equalise.

Sunderland get us back underway here at the Stadium of Light. As things stand, Regis Le Bris’ side are headed for the Europa League.
The hosts go in at the break one goal up, although it could perhaps should have been more during Guardiola’s final match in charge. Savinho and Reijnders have both gone close on more than one occasion since Semenyo’s opener.
For Villa’s part, they certainly seem to be feeling the effects of their Europa League triumph and celebrations in midweek.
Brighton go in at the break 2-0 down.
An eventful half where Bruno Fernandes broke the Premier League assists record, Mbeumo added a second goal to complete a half that went the way of United.
It’s half time here at the Stadium of Light and Sunderland are leading Chelsea 1-0. As it stands, Sunderland sit in 7th spot, and are on course for a spot in next season’s Europa League!

It’s bad news for Brighton in their quest for Europe as Patrick Dorgu has just opened the scoring with a header from a corner.
We have lift-off here at the Stadium of Light, and it’s Trai Hume who opens the scoring. A lovely team move from the hosts sees Hume find himself in the box to strike the ball first time into the bottom corner. It’s a well deserved lead for the hosts and Sunderland have just taken a huge step toward European football.
