Mo Salah was involved in training with his Liverpool team-mates following his explosive interview on Saturday in which he claimed Liverpool have thrown him under the bus.

Liverpool play Inter Milan this week in the Champions League, and the Egyptian forward was in training ahead of the game.

But it remains to be seen whether he will be involved in the squad game or not.

The forward has been left on the bench for the last three games and was not even brought on in two of those, including the 3-3 draw with Leeds on Saturday.

Following the clash, Salah spoke to journalists in the mixed zone and made his feelings clear.

“(This is) the third time on the bench, I think for the first time in my career,” he said. “I’m very, very disappointed to be fair. I have done so much for this club down the years and especially last season.

“Now I’m sitting on the bench and I don’t know why. It seems like the club has thrown me under the bus. That is how I am feeling. I think it is very clear that someone wanted me to get all of the blame.

“I got a lot of promises in the summer and so far I am in the bench for three games so I can’t say they keep the promise.

“I said many times before that I had a good relationship with the manager and all of a sudden, we don’t have any relationship.

“I don’t know why, but it seems to me, how I see it, that someone doesn’t want me in the club.”
