Several Arsenal players are set to miss the club’s pre-season tour of the USA – including Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and William Saliba.
Saka, Rice and Saliba along with Aaron Ramsdale and David Raya will link up with the squad when they return from the US, having been involved in the latter stages of Euro 2024.
Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu will also miss the trip with hamstring and knee injuries respectively and will remain in London to receive treatment from the club’s medical staff.
Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz will miss the start of the trip before heading out to join the squad from July 25, following their involvement in Copa America and Euro 2024.
Arsenal start their tour of the USA with a game against Bournemouth at LA Galaxy’s Dignity Health Sports Park on Wednesday, July 24 (7.30pm local time), before taking on Manchester United at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles the following Saturday (5pm local).
They then head to Philadelphia for a meeting with Liverpool at Lincoln Financial Field on Wednesday, August 1 (7.30pm local) before returning to the UK.
