The event saw players from various levels of the football pyramid, from youngsters to more experienced professionals, take part in the summer camp, put on by football agency Sporting Talent and aimed at helping maintain player fitness, as well as giving them a chance to test themselves in a competitive environment.

There was also an emphasis on helping players cope with the mental pressures of professional football, with a presentation given by Gazing Red2Blue’s Martin Fairn, an organisation which focuses on providing sportspeople and others with the mental skills to perform at their best.
