Son Heung-min was not involved in Wednesday’s training session ahead of Tottenham’s Europa League game against Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.

Son missed three games after picking up a hamstring injury against Qarabag in Spurs’ opening Europa League game. He was unavailable for matches against Manchester United, Ferencvaros and Brighton.

The 32-year-old made his return in the game against West Ham on Saturday and scored, before being taken off as a precaution in the 70th minute.

Tottenham have made a perfect start to their Europa League campaign, winning the first two games whilst scoring five and conceding only one in the process.

Spurs take on Alkmaar on Thursday night and will be hoping to make it three wins from three in Europe.
