Real Madrid wonderkid Endrick has been linked with a shock loan move to Southampton in January after limited minutes for the Spanish Champions.

Endrick, who joined Madrid in the summer in a deal worth up to £60 million from Brazilian outfit Palmeiras, has struggled for game time at the Bernabeu, with the likes of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Kylian Mbappe ahead of him in the pecking order.

The 18-year-old has only played a total of just 125 minutes in 17 games for Los Blancos, scoring twice. In the last six matches for the record Champions League winners, Endrick has only played 15 minutes.

England fans will already know of the Brazilian vividly, as he fully announced himself to the footballing world by scoring the winner against the Three Lions in a friendly at Wembley in March – which was also his first goal for his country.

According the sport.es, Roma are the favourites to secure Endrick’s services, with his contract at Madrid running until 2030. However, Southampton has been mentioned as a potential destination for the talented youngster, with Russell Martin looking to boost his strike force, with the Saints currently the lowest scoring team in the league with just seven so far.

The Brazilian is apparently confident in his own ability, and after such a heavy investment, Madrid will be looking to make sure any potential destination is the right place for their future star.
