Spurs forward misses training before Champions League tie

Dominic Solanke was not involved in Spurs training ahead of their Champions League clash with Villarreal.

The striker has missed the last two games with an ankle injury and did not take part in the open training session in front of the cameras.

Boss Thomas Frank said last week that he hoped to have the Englishman back soon.

“Dom won’t be available still,” Frank said ahead of the game against West Ham.

“I don’t expect it to be too long but he won’t be available for this game.”

Defender Kota Takai also remains sidelined.
