Thomas Frank has confirmed that Lucas Bergvall is set to miss the next two games due to being in concussion protocols.

The midfielder was forced off early on in Tottenham’s defeat to Chelsea after suffering a head injury.

And he is now set for a short spell on the sidelines.

“Lucas has got concussion,” Frank said. “Which was probably pretty obvious from the footage.

“Big praise to the medical team because it’s a tricky situation to be in when you’re two minutes into a game and everything is on it. So well done to them because it’s the player’s health that is the most important thing.”

Meanwhile, Frank revealed that both Djed Spence and Mohammed Kudus missed training ahead of the game due to suffering with knocks.

But he did not rule out the duo featuring against Copenhagen on Tuesday night in the Champions League.

“Djed and Mo have got knocks but they could be available for tomorrow,” Frank said.
