Spurs forward Richarlison is set for another spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury he suffered in the win over Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Brazillian has been plagued by injuries of late and was forced off against Villa after injuring his hamstring while setting up a goal for Dominic Solanke.
“From the weekend, Richy injured his hamstring. He’ll be out for a while,” Postecoglou said.
The Spurs boss also revealed that defender Cristian Romero and forwards Timo Werner and Mikey Moore are set to miss the Europa League clash with Galatasaray on Thursday.
“Romero is nothing too serious, still a chance for the weekend,” Postecoglou explained.
“Timo Werner a little bit of a groin issue he’s carrying, so he didn’t travel and Mikey Moore has a bit of a virus so he was left at home. Everyone else who was fit should be available.”
Spurs will look to make it four wins from four in the Europa League in Istanbul and Postecoglou says his players are raring to go in what is bound to be a hostile atmosphere.
“They’re all looking forward to it, this is why you play football,” he said.
“Especially this generation, a lot of them have experienced what football is like without supporters and we certainly don’t like that, when we went through covid.
“It’s a fantastic stadium, the supporters create an unbelievable atmosphere here they love the big European nights.”
