“He’s had an up and down year like the rest of us but I still have full confidence in him.”

“It’s too early assess. It’s just the way our season has gone unfortunately.

“It’s hugely disappointing for Lucas. He was obviously really excited and he’d had a big week, re-signing for the club. He’s had such a great year for us but it’s just the way our season has gone where we’re training and something innocuous like that ends up with him hurting his ankle.

“We’ll assess it over the next few days, let it settle down, and find out the extent of it.”

“I thought our supporters were outstanding tonight from the moment we walked out.

“They had a massive role in us performing in the way we needed to.”

“Richarlison wasn’t injured, it was just a tactical thing. He did a great job for us in the first half, exactly what we needed him to do, and we thought the game would open up for him in the second half and we got Mathys (Tel) on for that.

“Madders felt a tweak in his knee but it doesn’t sound like it’s anything serious and Dom similarly in his quad but both of them felt it wasn’t anything too significant but I thought it was wise just to take them off at that point.”

Ange Postecoglou speaking in his press conference: “I think we’re in a good position. I thought the players were outstanding today. I thought the performance was everything we needed it to be.

“Obviously they scored the goal late which I think doesn’t reflect our dominance in the game but if we repeat that performance next week it will be enough for us to get through.”

Tottenham win 3-1 as the full time whistle is blown – still all to play for in Norway next week.

Destiny Udogie and Wilson Odobert drove down the left before finding Kulusevski.

The Swede swivelled on it but could only fire wide.

Since the goal the only noise has come from the yellow congregation in the corner of the ground. The Tottenham fans have gone quiet.

Pedro Porro’s corner is first headed by Cristian Romero before falling nicely for Mathys Tel on the volley. The Frenchman’s volley is blocked and falls just wide of the goal.

Pedro Porro finds Dejan Kulusevski just outside the area but the Swedes shot is blocked out for a corner.

Destiny Udogie breaks down the left beating his man before driving into the area. His shot is saved at the goalkeeper’s near post.

Jens Petter Hauge receives a yellow card for a foul on Yves Bissouma in the Tottenham half.

Wilson Odobert comes on for Dominic Solanke who receives a standing ovation.

Cristian Romero blocked off Jostein Gunderson off the ball and receives a yellow card.

A last-ditch challenge from Pedro Porro keeps Gugliermo Vicario’s clean sheet intact. Some lovely interplay on the edge of the area from Bodo saw Kasper Hagh with a chance six yards out but the Spanish full back was there to stop him getting a shot away.

The resulting corner finds Cristian Romero but the Argentine’s header falls agonisingly wide.

Yves Bissouma wins the ball back 25 yards out and finds Dominic Solanke. The English striker drives at the Bodo defence but sees his shot blocked.

The mantras, ‘We don’t care about Levy, he don’t care about me all we care about is Kulusevski’ and ‘we want Levy out’ ring around the Tottenham Hotspur stadium even with the team 3-0 up.
