West Ham manager David Moyes

West Ham’s 6-0 thrashing at home to London rivals Arsenal on Sunday has seen the odds for David Moyes to be the next manager sacked drop dramatically.

Here are the rest of the favourites to be the next manager to get the chop, according to William Hill, and who their most likely replacements are…

The under fire Crystal Palace boss remains the favourite to be the next manager to go following an underwhelming season to date and anger from the supporters towards the club.

Palace sit 15th in the Premier League table heading into their clash with London rivals Chelsea and the calls for a longer-term appointment to be made have increased following Hodgson’s disappointing campaign.

Possible replacements: Kieran McKenna, Steve Cooper, Scott Parker, Graham Potter

Mauricio Pochettino 4/1

Chelsea’s FA Cup win over Aston Villa was much needed for Pochettino following heavy defeats to Liverpool and Wolves but with the Blues enduring yet another poor season in the Premier League despite the enormous sums of money spent, Pochettino is still under significant pressure.

He still has the chance to win silverware with Chelsea taking on Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final later this month but needs a strong end to the season to maintain the support he does have.

Possible replacements: Hansi Flick, Michel Sanchez, Roberto de Zerbi, Jose Mourinho, Xabi Alonso, Ruben Amorim

David Moyes 7/1

The Hammers boss was a 40/1 shot to be the next manager to depart ahead of the game against Arsenal but his odds have been slashed to just 7/1 following the heavy defeat.

Moyes has done a fantastic job at West Ham, winning the Europa Conference League and qualifying for European football three seasons on the spin but the mass exodus of supporters at half-time of West Ham’s latest loss is troubling for Moyes to say the least.

Possible replacements: Graham Potter, Xabi Alonso, Will Still, Michael Carrick, Steve Cooper, Paulo Fonseca

The Burnley boss has struggled to adapt his side to the challenges of the Premier League and they look destined for relegation back to the Championship. Despite that, last season’s memorable season and his popularity at Turf Moor means he will likely remain in the job for at least the time being.

Possible replacements: Carlos Corberan, Sam Allardyce, Frank Lampard, Steve Cooper

Eddie Howe 16/1

Champions League football and terrible injury luck have been challenging for Newcastle and Eddie Howe, who have failed to build on last season’s achievements. But Howe has no doubt earned himself time following the over-achievement of their previous campaign.

Possible replacements: Jose Mourinho, Michel Sanchez, Graham Potter, Zinedine Zidane
