Live updates from reporter Nayan Murthy from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Spurs take on Manchester City in the Premier League.

Frank on the transfer window and injuries

Frank on the transfer window: “We are active, no doubt about that. If something happens, let’s see.

“Cuti, I hope is minor, nothing. Micky (van de Ven) we hope is back for Man Utd, and Djed (Spence) is hopefully not too long.”

Frank encouraged by what he has seen from his side

“This team’s ability to respond to setbacks, I think we are growing bit by bit. I think we are showing more consistency, we are more competitive, it’s going in the right direction.

“Not all the results have gone with us but I think there’s been some good, top performances and mentality against Bournemouth, West Ham and Villa, we just didn’t get at least a point out of it.

“We are building it with players struggling left, right and centre through injuries. We’re ending a game without three normal centre-backs, two normal full-backs, we play Archie and Joao in the back four, Dragusin plays his first game in 12 months and Junai is coming on as a right midfielder.

“I think that shows everything about the team. Very proud of the players.”

Frank explains Romero sub

Frank on why Romero was taken off: “Illness. We are assessing him but hopefully he’s fine.

“He struggled through the Frankfurt game as well and pushed through that with a fantastic captain’s performance.

“He struggled a little bit but we hope it’s nothing.”

Thomas Frank on Solanke's fitness and performance

“He clearly struggled to run fitness wise. We knew before the game it would be a big push to play 90. He’s not there fitness wise where he should be because he’s been out for so long and we’ve, in a way, been a little bit forced to play him.

“I think it’s pretty evident that he’s relatively important for us. Four goals in four games with him being at 70% or 80% of fitness.

“Imagine City playing without Haaland for six months. I think we’ve been quite hard hit with injuries in general. But Dom was excellent.”

Pep is asked whether he might have to prioritise other competitions

“So you are saying we are out of the Premier League? With 14 games to play?

“We’ve had a lot of injuries, a month ago we had a lot, nine or ten players out but at the same time we are there and we continue.

“Now we have a semi-final to reach a final next Wednesday and after Anfield and we continue. Do what we have to do.”

Pep: We will always have hope of winning the title

Man City boss Pep Guardiola on the title race after today’s draw: “As long as the chance is there the hope will always be there.

“We have difficulties for many things but players are coming back and I saw an incredible spirit in many things.

“Erling is good in terms of shape. I think Nico, Bernardo and Rodri in the middle, they give us incredible presence and physicality that we need.”

Semenyo: Still plenty to play for

Man City forward Antoine Semenyo: “We’ve got more games, there are 14 games to go. We are six points behind, it’s not the end. We have to keep going.

“Anything can happen. 14 games to go, they might lose a couple of games and we might win. The dynamic changes and we have to see what happens.”

Solanke upbeat after his double earns Spurs draw

Dominic Solanke speaking to Sky Sports: “We are trying to build on it. That is four games unbeaten now and we want to start winning games for sure. We need to focus on that and keep building. When everyone is on it and we have the crowd and everyone has that confidence and belief we know we can beat anyone.”
