Mikel Arteta has been dealt another injury concern after forward Leandro Trossard was forced off in Belgium’s Nations League defeat to Israel.

Trossard limped off the pitch after just 37 minutes of Belgium’s 1-0 loss but it is unclear how serious the problem is as of yet.

It adds to Arteta’s injury headache, with Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka both forced off in the draw with Chelsea prior to the international break and then withdrawing from the England squad.

Ben White is also set for a spell out following knee surgery and Riccardo Calafiori, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney have also been sidelined through injuries.

Elsewhere, William Saliba played the full 90 minutes as France beat Italy 3-1 in Milan.

The central defender had been rested for France’s draw with Israel in their first international of the break.

On Saturday, Kai Havertz scored and played the full game as Germany thrashed Bosnia and Herzegovina 7-0. Germany will face Hungary on Tuesday.

David Raya started for Spain in their 2-1 win over Denmark on Friday, while Mikel Merino played 80 minutes of the victory. Spain will also face Switzerland on Monday.

Defender Jurrien Timber played 68 minutes for the Netherlands on Saturday as they beat Hungary. They will also face Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday.

Oleksandr Zinchenko did not play for Ukraine in their 1-1 draw with Georgia on Saturday but could play a part when they face Albania on Tuesday.

Jakub Kiwior, however, played the full game of Poland’s 5-1 defeat to Portugal on Friday and set up his side’s goal. They take on Scotland on Tuesday.

Gabriel and Gabriel Martinelli could be in action again on Wednesday when Brazil face Uruguay, having both featured in the draw with Venezuela last week.
