Tuchel reveals Bellingham injury concern after win over Czechia

Thomas Tuchel revealed Jude Bellingham suffered an injury concern in England’s win over Czechia, but hopes the midfielder will be fit to face Croatia.

The England boss said Bellingham’s minutes were deliberately managed because of the quick turnaround, with the Real Madrid man coming off the bench in the second half to help England to a 2-0 win.

“Both of our heads said maybe 30 minutes is enough for today because he hasn’t played this quick turnaround this season,” Tuchel said.

“He has done it before but not in this season so we didn’t want to be the first ones to try that.

“You can see that he’s confident and happy to help even from the bench.

“He had a little niggle at the end of the match, so hopefully it’s nothing serious and he’s available for Croatia.”
