Mikel Arteta says he has been impressed by how quickly Martin Odegaard has grown as a player since arriving at Arsenal.
The Gunners captain has been in fine form of late, setting up two goals in the 5-0 demolition of Chelsea and also scoring in the 2-0 win over Wolves prior to that.
Odegaard joined Arsenal in 2021 following an initial loan spell from Real Madrid and the Arsenal boss says he still has plenty more to offer despite already establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s best midfielders.
“No one is questioning his talent,” Arteta said.
“He’s become a role model, a captain, he’s had a lot of steps to make and he’s done that really fast.
“He keeps evolving, he keeps growing, he wants more. The impact that he’s having on the team, obviously it’s huge, and he wants more which is good to know.”
