Mikel Arteta was full of praise for his Arsenal side after another high scoring away victory with the Gunners battering Sheffield United 6-0.
Five first half goals from five different scorers saw the Gunners cruising by half-time, with Ben White adding a solitary goal in the second period to complete the rout.
Arsenal are now the only side in English Football League history to win three consecutive away games by 5+ goals, as they continue to pile the pressure on Manchester City and Liverpool.
“A great night. A really difficult place to come. The way we started made a difference,” Arteta said when asked whether it was the perfect night for his team.
“We were really aggressive and positive and we showed real quality in the final third to take the game into a great position for us.
“Then we maintained the rhythm, maintained the hunger and I love that about the team.
“The fact that we’re scoring many goals and [not] conceding is a great sign, but it’s about winning every game now.
“That’s the demands these two teams have set over the past few years and that’s the task ahead of us.
“This is the Premier League so you know the level of the opponent. You cannot be satisfied.”
