Man City boss Pep Guardiola hailed midfielder Kevin De Bruyne as one of the best players in the club’s history after his masterclass against Crystal Palace.
City prevailed 4-2 over Oliver Glasner’s Palace side despite going a goal down early on, with De Bruyne scoring twice and setting up another in the win.
And Guardiola lauded the Belgian’s importance for his team.
“Kevin won the game,” Guardiola said.
“Without Kevin today, maybe we would not be able to win.
“We talk about tactics and managers, but give me players like Kevin and these kind of games are easier.
“How many years has he been with us? Nine years or ten years at Man City? The numbers, the presence, the consistency, it’s amazing.”
