WATCH: Guardiola says Arsenal will win title if City do not beat Spurs

Pep Guardiola believes anything other than a win for Manchester City over Tottenham means Arsenal will win the Premier League.

A win for City would put them two points ahead of the Gunners with just one game left to play, while a draw would see them move level on points with Mikel Arteta’s side but still behind them on goal difference.

And Guardiola says not winning the game means Arsenal will be champions, drawing comparisons to City’s battles with Liverpool in the past as proof of that.

“I had the feeling in the past with the battle against Liverpool, I said many times, we win or it will be over,” he said.

“I have the feeling that to beat Arsenal today is so difficult because they make very good things in all departments. So difficult to beat them.

“The moment we had, weeks ago, the chance to depend on us, we started to use it and we have done it, so far, really well and we have the last chance away (at Tottenham) to have the last chance at home.

“We have just one option. Win the game, and we travel for that.

“If we don’t win, we are not going to win the Premier League. That is exactly what we have to do.”
