WATCH: Pochettino reacts to Chelsea fans chanting for him to be sacked

Mauricio Pochettino has vowed that he will fight to gain the love of the Chelsea supporters after many chanted for him to be sacked during the 2-2 draw with Brentford.

Nicolas Jackson had put the Blues ahead in the first half but goals from Mads Roerslev and Yoane Wissa put the struggling Bees 2-1 up, prompting the away fans at the Gtech Community Stadium to chant for Pochettino to be sacked, as well as the names of former manager Jose Mourinho and former owner Roman Abramovich.

Axel Disasi rescued a late point for the Blues but the draw has done little to prevent the pressure on Pochettino increasing following their Carabao Cup final defeat to Liverpool.

“I’ve been told but I didn’t hear it, to be honest,” Pochettino said when asked about the chants.

“I need to believe what you are telling me. I didn’t hear but it’s normal.

“We were losing the game 2-1 and it’s about expressing their frustration. Of course we are responsible and I am responsible.

“I am not worried, we need to accept this relationship. Someone asked me, do you feel the love from the fans? No. But we need to build our relationship through winning games.

“I am going to continue to work and try to change this perception and win games.”
