West Brom keen on more summer signings before window shuts

West Brom boss James Morrison says he remains hopeful of adding further new signings before the transfer window closes, with a deal for Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer understood to be close.

The Baggies have already been active in the market this summer, bringing in winger Kareem Tunde earlier this week.

But Morrison is keen to further strengthen his squad.

“I am hopeful,” he said.

“There’s been a lot of hard work been going on behind the scenes.

“We have to do things a little bit differently, we have to be clever about it and I felt that we’ve been doing that because we’ve had a lot of signings.”
