Which Premier League team currently has the most injuries?

Every team in the Premier League has endured an injury crisis of sorts this season, but which club currently has the most players in the treatment room?

As the number of games increases- with some teams still competing in Europe and the FA Cup- almost every club is suffering from notable absentees.

International duties have also contributed to a congested fixture list, as nations make their respective preparations for the Euros in Germany this summer.

As of March 1, the data shows that Newcastle and Brentford have been impacted most by injuries this season. Newcastle have lost 1,333 days through injuries since the season kicked off on August 11. Brentford rank second on the list with 1,159 days lost followed by Brighton (1,093), Chelsea (1,091), Sheffield United (1,081), Manchester United (979) and Tottenham (949).

At the other end of the scale, Wolves have lost just 316 days so far – which is less than a quarter of Newcastle’s tally.

West Ham (331), Everton (555), Manchester City (565) and Bournemouth (567) have also experienced relatively quiet treatment tables.

Some of those teams are still suffering from several injuries, and new ones, so the number of days missed will have increased since the data was collated by Premier Injuries on March 1.

Teams will be expecting some key players to return over the course of the run-in, whereas others are ruled out until next season.

So here is the current Premier League injury table, showing which sides currently have the most players on the treatment table.
