Wolves boss Cesar Peixoto has confirmed Kieran Trippier and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde could both return for Sunday’s Championship clash with Sheffield United.

Neither is ready to start at Bramall Lane, but the pair have returned to training and could be named among the substitutes.

Trippier has been sidelined for almost a month with a knee injury, while Bellegarde is yet to feature this season because of a hamstring problem.

“Kieran Trippier has started training but is not fit enough to start the game,” Peixoto said. “We are going to see if he has the capacity to go with us and take some minutes.

“Bellegarde is the second week with us and is better. He can be an option for the game.”
