Spurs close in on double signing from rivals Chelsea following Ndiaye blow, while winger departs on loan

Tottenham are closing in on a double deal with Chelsea after reaching an agreement in principle to sign defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a permanent basis and Mykhailo Mudryk on loan.

Spurs have reached an agreement with their London rivals over the proposed transfers, with the club now needing to finalise personal terms with both players before the deals can be completed.

However, Spurs appear set to miss out on Iliman Ndiaye, who they had agreed a deal with Everton to sign, with Manchester City now also agreeing a deal for the Everton forward.

Ndiaye is now expected to choose a move to City over Tottenham.

Everton and Tottenham remain in talks over a potential deal for Richarlison, meanwhile, with the Brazilian forward’s future still to be resolved before the deadline.

That is despite Richarlison releasing a statement on his social media, in which he suggested he will not be forced out of the club.

“After everything I’ve been through in the last few years, I’ve decided that NEVER AGAIN will anyone decide my future for me,” he said.

“I went through a lot of bad things, and almost all of them happened because decisions were made by other people. Pressure, threats, retaliation – none of that scares me. I’ve been through far worse, believe me.

“I’ve always made it clear, every time I had the chance, that leaving for another club would only happen if it was also good for the club. If it wasn’t, I would never accept it… just like I didn’t accept it when everything was going badly and they needed me. I stayed and gave everything.

“So I hope they treat my situation with the same respect I’ve always shown Spurs and everyone who worked with me during this period. Just don’t try to decide for me.”

Spurs have also confirmed the departure of highly-rated winger Mikey Moore, who has joined Bundesliga side FC Köln on a season-long loan.

The 18-year-old will now continue his development in Germany as Tottenham look to provide the youngster with regular first-team football.
