Jurgen Klopp has labelled Mohamed Salah and an “all time great” as the Egyptian closes in on his 200th Liverpool goal.
Salah has ten Premier League this season, and sits on 199 Liverpool goals in all competitions. Salah’s next goal will also be his 150th Premier League goal for Klopp’s side.
Since joining in 2017, the former Roma and Chelsea winger has been one of the Premier League’s shining stars, breaking record after record. His boss was full of praise for his player.
“He is right up there. A player with his numbers, I am not sure I will ever coach again. His development as a man is incredible and very impressive, as a player as well. All-time great, without a shadow of a doubt”, Klopp said.
Liverpool are on a high after their late 4-3 win against Fulham at the weekend. Liverpool are just two points behind Arsenal, heading into their midweek clash with Sheffield United.

“Our late winner is very important. We can take a lot of things from the game, but we could have done better. I don’t think for a second about where we could end up. We must be [where we are] in April. I have no clue where we will be in April”, said the Liverpool boss.
“We cannot think ahead of the next game.”
Liverpool are still without duo Diogo Jota and Alisson, with Andy Robertson still sidelined also. Klopp provided a more positive update on his Portuguese forward.
“[Jota} was running yesterday, outside. Everything is going in the right direction but he is not in team training”, Klopp co
Alisson is closer but will not be involved tomorrow.
