Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka are among the nominees for the PFA young player of the year award.
Saka is the reigning holder of the award and scored 16 goals and provided nine assists in the Premier League last season.
Palmer is included after netting 22 Premier League goals in his debut season at Chelsea.
Manchester United duo Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho also feature among the nominees. Garnacho played 36 times in the Premier League last season and scored seven goals, while Mainoo enjoyed a breakout season with United which saw him make the England squad for Euro 2024.
Both also scored in United’s 2-1 FA Cup final win over Manchester City.
Michael Olise and Joao Pedro make up the list, with Olise impressing after returning from injury for Crystal Palace last season before moving to Bayern Munich.
Pedro, meanwhile, scored nine goals in his debut season for Brighton after moving from Watford.
Lauren James is the likely favourite for the women’s award, having netted 13 goals in 16 WSL games to help Chelsea to the title.
Man City duo Khiara Keating and Jess Park, Chelsea’s Aggie Beever-Jones, Man Utd’s Maya Le Tissier and Grace Clinton, who spent last season on loan at Spurs from Man Utd, are the other names on the list.
