Chelsea duo could return for Aston Villa clash

Chelsea duo Marc Cucurella and Estevao are closing in on returns, Liam Rosenior has said.

Both again missed out when Chelsea were beaten by London rivals Arsenal on Sunday with hamstring problems.

But Rosenior says both could return when they take on Aston Villa on Wednesday.

“Getting closer,” he said on the duo.

“Cucu is looking really good, hopefully we can get him back involved if not for Wednesday than Saturday for sure which is great, with the schedule we’ve got coming up.

“Estevao is back on the pitch running which is great.

“Jamie Gittens is doing really well, it was great to have Romeo Lavia get his first minutes in a long time. I felt he looked really strong so the quicker we get all of our players healthy the better.”
