Grealish explains why he chose number 18 at Everton

“There is a reason for choosing number 18. There were other numbers but my two favourite English players ever are Wayne Rooney and Paul Gascoigne and I know they both wore number 18 here.

“So, as soon as I knew this deal was close, I had a look and number 18 was free, so that was perfect for me and it was the only number I was going to take from that point.”

According to The Athletic, Alexander Isak is reusing to reintegrate into the Newcastle squad and there is no way back between club and player.

The Times are reporting that Isak has even vacated his home in Newcastle and put it up for sale

Donnarumma to the Premier League?

Manchester City have made contact with PSG over goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 26-year-old has been left out the French side’s Super Cup squad with the Italian not able to agree a new deal at the club, and the signing of Lucas Chevalier.

PSG’s asking price is €50m, which is deemed too high with Donnarumma having just one-year left on his current deal.
