Man City are reportedly considering making a move for Crystal Palace midfielder Ebere Eze, while Kevin De Bruyne is the target of interest from Saudi Arabia.
The Guardian say City are weighing up an approach for Eze, who featured for England at Euro 2024 and scored 11 Premier League goals last season.
But De Bruyne could be on his way out of Manchester after nine years at the club with Saudi side Al-Ittihad reportedly keen on signing the midfielder.
The Guardian say City are preparing for the departure of the 33-year-old and see Eze as a possible replacement.
But Sky Sports claim that City remain relaxed about Kevin de Bruyne’s future with the expectation that he will remain at the club.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have completed the signing of 19-year-old USA international Caleb Wiley, with the left-back joining the Blues from MLS side Atlanta United and has signed a six-year contract with a club option for a further year.
Arsenal look set to secure the signing of defender Riccardo Calafiori in a deal reportedly worth around £40m, with reports in Italy claiming the signing could be finalised this week after he was left out of Bologna’s pre-season training camp squad.
Aston Villa have completed the £50m signing of Everton midfielder Andre Onana, but look set to sell forward Moussa Diaby for 50.5m to Al-Ittihad and the Guardian say they are targeting Atletico Madrid man Joao Felix as a replacement.
And Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says he wants to keep midfielder Scott McTominay at the club amid reported interest from Fulham, telling Sky Sports: “We want to keep him because he is a very important player for our squad.”
