21 of the 24 teams featuring at EURO 2024 have qualified for the tournament. There are three spots left, which will be decided by a round of play-off games. The countries have been separated and allocated in four different pots.
Here are all the countries who have qualified, and their individual pots.

Germany will be relishing the opportunity to host the tournament, but come into the Euros on poor form. Since their disastrous World Cup campaign, they have only won three games out of eleven. This includes defeats against Poland, Colombia and Japan. Germany hosted the World Cup in 2006, and there is no doubt that they will be fantastic hosts again.
The favourites from Pot One are France. The French have an incredible squad, with frightening squad depth. They pushed Argentina all the way in the Qatar World Cup final, but lost out of penalties. They will be hoping to go one better next year, and will still have memories of their Euro 2016 final defeat to Portugal. Kylian Mbappe and co are the ones to beat next summer.
England will have the country behind them heading into the tournament, with hopes pinned on the likes of Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and Harry Kane to deliver glory. March’s friendlies will give Southgate and fans and better indication of where England are, as they host Brazil and Belgium at Wembley.

Denmark were semi-finalists in Euro 2020, and were knocked out by England after extra time. The Danish were seen as dark horses the tournament four years ago, and will again seeking a strong Euros campaign. Denmark topped their group on goal difference, gaining 22 points in ten games. They have looked fairly solid, despite the defeats against Northern Ireland and Kazakhstan.
Turkiye topped their group in a batch that included Croatia and Wales. Their form of late has been good, including a 3-2 away win against hosts Germany last week. Turkiye had a horrendous campaign in 2020, losing all three group games against Italy, Wales and Switzerland. They will be hoping for improvement next summer.
Albania have qualified for the Euros for only the second time in their history. They are ranked 59th in the world rankings. They impressively won their group, pipping both Czech Republic and Poland to top spot. They are unbeaten in their last eight games and have well and truly earned their place at next summer’s tournament.

The Netherlands may find themselves in a tricky group, being in pot three. They finished second in their group, behind France but did enough to qualify automatically, with third place Greece entering the play-offs. The Dutch won six of their eight games, with their two defeats coming against the French. It is not the strongest group of players that the Netherlands have had in recent tournaments, but they will feel that they will have enough to go far.
Scotland have qualified for the second Euros in a row. They came second behind Spain in their group, but will take pride in their famous win over the Spanish in March earlier this year. There is a possibility Scotland may draw England again in the groups, after their 0-0 draw at Wembley in Euro 2020. Scotland pipped Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard’s Norway to automatically qualify. It will be fascinating to see how the Scots get on next summer.
Croatia are always a dangerous team. Semi finalists, and third place play-off winners in Qatar, knocking out Brazil on their way. Five wins and a draw was enough to qualify automatically for Germany 2024, but being in pot three always runs the risk of a tricky group. This will surely be Luka Modric’s final tournament, the 38 year old has been a magnificent servant for his country. Croatia always provide entertainment and are not scared to cause an upset or two.

The holders Italy find themselves in pot four, after they just about qualified automatically. They beat Ukraine on goal difference to claim their spot. The Italians have been on a rotten run of form since their penalty triumph at Wembley. They failed to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar, losing in play-offs to North Macedonia. Italy will no doubt be up against it, and may find themselves in a tough group. Can Italy defend their crown, or will it be a miserable tournament?

12 countries still have the chance to qualify for Euro 2024, with three places available.
These play-off games are one-legged ties, with a semi-final and a final. The games will be played on March 21st and 26th 2024.
The two best-ranked teams will be at home in the semi-finals. The best-ranked plays the fourth-ranked country, and the second against the third.
The draw for the group stages will take place on Saturday 2nd of December in Hamburg, Germany at 18:00.
