Welcome to this Hayters TV live blog! We’ll have updates throughout the day from the Premier League manager press conferences…
Arne Slot – 9
Mikel Arteta – 9.30
Enzo Maresca – 10
Ange Postecoglou – 10.30
Ruben Amorim – 1.30
Pep Guardiola – 1.30
Amorim on Casemiro’s lack of involvement lately: “It has to be the characteristics and then I have to choose the player with characteristics that I see in the game, so it’s just that,” he said.
“I have to make some choices. I want to play a style of game that is sometimes different from other coaches and I have to choose [players] based on that. That’s all.”
Ruben Amorim on Marcus Rashford’s future: “I don’t know. I really don’t know…
“Guys, it’s eight days. We’ll see what happens at the end of the transfer window and we’ll talk about that at that moment.”
Watch Pep Guardiola’s full press conference as the City boss reveals his three new signings could be involved against Chelsea…
“The next two games [against Chelsea and Club Brugge in the UCL] are really really important, finals with us. Our people will support us.
“I think I recognised his [Maresca’s] team from day one, even when we played them in the summer camp in the States. Many things I started to see that we spoke about many, many times in the last years together. Really good.”
Both Ruben Dias and Jeremy Doku have been ruled out of Man City’s game against Chelsea by boss Pep Guardiola.
Pep Guardiola asked about Man City’s trio of new signings:
“Vitor is young, he has a huge personality, needs time. If he’s here with us, of course he can start.
“Khusanov has already settled for the fact that he played in the French league, handling tough, quick, fast players. But he doesn’t speak much English so communication will be one of the situations that we have to deal with.
“Marmoush, I think he will adapt quick.
“They will make us strong and I’m pretty sure that the club decided for this prospective players for the future and many years.”
A DEFIANT Ange Postecoglou defended his Spurs record in his earlier press conference: “If you’re looking for a head on a stick take mine. But I am absolutely 100 per cent confident that we are in a much better place in all areas of the club today than we were when I started.”

Tottenham haven’t had an easy time with injuries and Ange Postecoglou warned of the possibility that it might get worse before it gets better. “There’s always the possibility that before those guys come back (Romero, Van de Van), with the loads we’re putting on these guys, we might lose a couple of these.”
That’s it from Maresca.
Maresca on the criticism of Robert Sanchez and how he has dealt with that: “He is okay. Anything can happen. How many times Caicedo has missed a pass? How many times has Nico missed a goal? Many times.”
“We are getting better but we need the experience.
“We’ve lived a moment where we’ve struggled with results and we will better in the future because of that.”
Good time to play Man City? “I don’t believe in these kind of things. It’s probably the opposite. They want to show how good they are.”
“Joao is a Chelsea player. Unfortunately the problem with Joao and Nkunku is that the manager only plays with one attacking midfielder.
“They struggle to get minutes not for any other reason. They are top players.”
Will anybody come in at Chelsea before the window shuts? “We pay attention if something can happen. At the moment, ten days to go, we haven’t done anything. We will see.”
Maresca says he will always be thankful to Pep and Man City. “They got me after I was sacked by an Italian club after two or three months.”
Is Maresca surprised by what has happened to Man City this season? “It’s normal. What is not normal is the amount of years they won trophies.
“For sure they are going to be back soon.”
Maresca says he is “very happy” with the options he has in the wide attacking areas, amid links to Alejandro Garnacho.
Maresca says Cole Palmer is better following his knock.
Maresca is here. He says Lavia will be out again but that Colwill and Enzo could return for the game against Man City. He is unsure how long Lavia will be out for.
Do Chelsea need to strengthen in midfield? “I think we have enough players to cover there.”
Our reporter Dan Bennett is at Cobham waiting to hear from Enzo Maresca ahead of Chelsea’s game against Man City…

That’s it from Mikel, don’t forget there will be more to come from the Gunners boss in his embargoed section later
Sometimes, yes! Especially if they know them. It goes away from the data and computer. But how does this player act when he hasn’t scored for six games.
