Harry Kane launches new burger inspired by breaking England goal record

Harry Kane has celebrated becoming England’s all-time record goalscorer by launching his very own burger – The Record Breaker.

The Spurs striker broke Wayne Rooney’s England record last week when he scored from the spot in a 2-1 win over Italy in a qualifier for the 2024 European Championships, his 54th in an England shirt before adding a 55th against Ukraine.

The Record Breaker is on sale at TOCA Social at the 02 in Greenwich, London, with 54% of the profits from every burger sold going towards the Harry Kane Foundation (HKF), which was established in October last year and aims to normalise conversations around mental health, promote positive habits that support mental health, tackle stigma, and provide practical support.

“Initiatives like this are good fun, but importantly we have involved my foundation to help raise funds for charities and mental health programmes across the country,” Kane said.

“This new burger creation not only tastes amazing, but every sale will also directly support some incredible causes, so I am really pleased. I hope everyone enjoys it.”

The burger itself has been created by Kane using some of his favourite ingredients, including lemon and herb marinated grilled chicken, traditional coleslaw, chipotle mayonnaise, and tomato sauce.
