Recent form

Chelsea have won their last three games in all competitions, the most recent victory coming against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

What’s been said?

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca on his side’s recent disciplinary issues: “Personally, I’m not that kind of manager to punish players, I don’t think it’s the right way to do things. I prefer to help them to understand and to do the right things.

“I have four kids. When they do something wrong, I don’t punish them, I try to teach them to do the right things. I try to treat the players in the same way, to try to help them to understand. This is the way I see things. It can be right or wrong, I don’t know. But it’s the way I like to do things.”

Ajax head coach John Heitinga on Chelsea: “It’s clear that they’re a strong team, which is why it’s very important that we execute our own plan. Of course, it’s also a question of which players they’ll select tomorrow. They’re a side with great strength, positional rotations and full-backs who move into midfield.”
