Live updates as Hull City take on Chelsea in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior praises Pedro Neto after his hat-trick: “Pedro Neto has been outstanding, he works so hard and he has so much quality. I am delighted to see him get the goals he got today. Everyone worked really, really hard for each other.
“The most pleasing aspect was the mentality. They were a credit to the club. It was a really strong performance in terms of the mental application you need to be successful.”
It’s full time. A professional performance from Chelsea on a night that started with a few close scares for the Blues.
Liam Rosenior will be pleased his side go back down to London with no injuries.
In the end they got the job done and are in the hat for the fifth round, which will be played on the weekend of March 7.
Next up for the Blues is Burnley at Stamford Bridge while Hull continue their quest for Premier League football.
The fourth official puts his board up for three minutes of additional time.
Liam Rosenior’s turn now.
A two-way applause between the Chelsea manager and the Hull supporters who are singing his name.
Rosenior played 161 times for the Tigers.
Liam Delap’s night comes to an end. He gets a standing ovation from all four stands of the MKM Stadium having previously been on loan here. A shame he couldn’t get on the scoresheet having been so selfless from two of Chelsea’s goals tonight.
He is replaced by Shumaira Mheuka.
Kieran Dowell is on for Cathal McCarthy.
Lewis Koumas latched onto a long ball, which Robert Sanchez misjudged by Koumas was unable to get a real connection with the ball.
Joseph and Drameh replace Yu and Coyle.
Tosin comes on for Wesley Fofana.
Estevao’s night is also over as he is replaced by 18-year-old Jesse Derry.
Pedro Neto scores his third!
A tidy finish into the bottom corner with his right-foot.
Neto played a one-two with Delap in the build-up. Some Hull fans are heading for the exits. They’ve seen enough.
Mamadou Sarr the second man in the book after delaying the restart.
Liam Miller comes off for Joe Gelhardt while John Lundstram replaces Amir Hadziahmetovic.
Reece James is replaced by Enzo Fernandez while Josh Acheampong is on for Moises Caicedo.
Estevao makes it three but all the credit has to go to Liam Delap there. The forward did excellently running in behind before squaring to the Brazilian who put the miss in the first half to the back of his mind, and the ball in the back of the net this time. Tie over.
For unknown reasons, the Hull City fans began to boo Garnacho midway through the first half.
The Argentine hasn’t enjoyed his best game tonight but did well to skip away from Lewie Coyle and get a shot off, but was right down Phillips’ throat.
The goal seems to have been given to Neto.
As it stands, the Chelsea man is on a hat-trick.
He has never scored a career hat-trick, so tonight maybe a good time to get one.
Chelsea get their second from the resulting corner.
Pedro Neto’s inswinger seemed to miss everyone and flew between Phillips’ legs.
Just the start the Blues’ will have wanted in the second half.
Fantastic save from Dillon Phillips to prevent Andrey Santos making it 2-0. Santos rose highest at the back post but Phillips was equal to it.
We are back under way for the second half.
No changes for either side.
Half time at the MKM stadium.
Hull City 0-1 Chelsea.
Hull won’t be too displeased by that having had chances of their own.
A big second half to come for both sides.
The goalscorer is shown the first yellow card of the night after committing a cynical foul on Yu.
What a strike from Pedro Neto.
The Portuguese international tucks the ball into the bottom corner from just outside the box.
Just what they’ll have wanted before half time.
This game has just slowed down a touch in the last 10 minutes.
After a frantic start with both sides having their fair share of chances, Chelsea are just taking the sting out of it now.
Remember Paddy McNair?
The Northern Irishman made his Manchester United debut in 2014 and was heavily utilised under Louis van Gaal.
The now 30-year-old is with his sixth club in Hull having signed for the Tigers in the January transfer window after a year at San Diego FC in the MLS.
What on earth is going on?
Liam Delap just blocked a kick from goalkeeper Phillips, which ricocheted onto the bar. The ball fell back to Delap who like Estevao, just had to tap home but he decided to round Phillips who got a hand on it to push away.
Liam Rosenior cannot be happy with his forwards finishing here.
