Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna was very complimentary of Arsenal after the game, admitting that they were probably the highest standard of team they have faced this season.

Arteta gave a calm reaction when asked for his thoughts on Leif Davis’ challenge on Saka, for which he was shown a straight red card, and says the Arsenal winger is fine.
“The ref made his decision. He’s a bit sore but it’s nothing serious.
“I haven’t seen the slow motion replay. I’ve just seen the normal image.
“I don’t think it’s intentional at all but it’s dangerous because he cannot react to anything because he doesn’t see it coming.”
Arteta on Trossard playing as a striker: “He’s certainly ready to play in any position.
“The team showed adaptability and versatility.”
Mikel Arteta is told that this was the first time that White, Odegaard and Saka have started together since November.
“Unbelievable, eh?
“Very happy for Ben especially because he’s missed a lot of football. He’s been so consistent in the last few seasons with us.
“It was good to finally see them!”
It’s all over at Portman Road! A comfortable win for Arsenal thanks to Leandro Trossard’s double and goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.
The home side played much of the game with ten men after Leif Davis was shown a straight red for a challenge on Bukayo Saka.
Zinchenko almost adds a fifth for Arsenal, shooting just over the bar.

Arsenal have a fourth and Nwaneri will hope to claim it. He cuts in from the right and fires towards goal. The shot takes a big deflection and leaves Palmer helpless.
Odegaard deserves a goal for his performance today and comes so close as his low strike rebounds off the inside of the post and across the goalmouth.
A standing ovation from the away fans as Trossard comes off to be replaced by youngster Butler-Oyedeji.
Huge cheers as Ipswich’s talisman Liam Delap is brought on along with Luongo.

Lewis-Skelly finds his way into the area but his shot is deflected wide for a corner.

Arsenal have had plenty of corners this afternoon and finally score from one.
It’s taken short to Rice who finds Trossard to finish low into the bottom corner for his second of the game and Arsenal’s third.
Arsenal continue to put Ipswich under pressure and have had a flurry of corners in the last couple of minutes.
Odegaard works space for himself just outside the area and bends a low strike towards goal, which Palmer gets down to catch.
White gets in down the right and cuts the ball back for Nwaneri but Ipswich are able to get in the way of it.
A double switch for Arsenal. Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri are on for Saka and Merino.
It looks like Zinchenko has gone into midfield and Lewis-Skelly to left-back.
A good opportunity for Ipswich!
They counter quickly and Hirst gets the ball out on the left. He cuts inside and fires a low shot which whistles just past the post.
Arsenal continue to cause problems down their right-hand side through Saka and Odegaard.
Saka clips a looping ball towards the back post, Merino leaps high to head it but can’t get enough on the ball and it’s cleared.
Odegaard forces a good save from Palmer at his near post.
