Jurgen Klopp was in a positive mood after his Liverpool side booked their place in the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea after narrowly beating Fulham 3-2 on aggregate.
The matches continue to come thick and fast for Klopp’s Liverpool side, who are once again in with a chance of winning a quadruple.
They currently sit top the Premier League, have qualified for the Carabao Cup final and also have a home tie with Norwich in the FA Cup as well as being in the latter stages of the Europa League.
Ahead of their fourth round tie against Norwich City, Klopp emphasised the importance of togetherness in the squad.
Klopp said: “Did we have a red card at Chelsea? That was probably the only game where we didn’t! But that helped to grow together as a group.
“Let’s see how far we get. Since then, we had different things. Loads of injuries and that’s never good. You have to work with that and that’s what we did.”
Liverpool have also been hit with various injuries to key players such as Dominik Szoboszlai, Andy Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kostas Tsimikas but it is now starting to look more positive for Klopp.
“There’s a chance for all of them but we will have to see. Touch and go,” he added.
“Robbo is physically ready. It was good to have him in the matchday squad. He’s in a completely normal team training schedule.
“Like Dom from tomorrow on. He had yesterday a session, today I think he has a day off as well and then from tomorrow on he is in completely normal. That means he is obviously ready for minutes.
“Trent, is it Norwich or the game after we have to see? Not in team training yet, maybe tomorrow, we have to see. It will be very helpful if they can be involved.
“Definitely having a rest is good. Three months is too long, especially for Robbo. When it happened, it was really shocking.
“We knew we had Kosti but we had an awful lot of games coming. Then Joey (Gomez) stepped in and that’s really positive. He’s the winner of the season for sure, he is back to his best.
“We had solutions without knowing we will have them to that extent. We had to adapt, from a formation-wise point of view. We can always deal with a few injuries. A few more and you might have to change formation, that’s what we did.”
