Jurgen Klopp criticised the decision to disallow Jonathan Tah’s extra-time goal as Germany exited the World Cup after a penalty shoot-out defeat to Paraguay.
Tah thought he had headed Germany in front, only for the goal to be disallowed for a challenge on Paraguay goalkeeper Orlando Gill by Waldemar Anton.

AAnd after playing out a 1-1 draw, Germany were eliminated from the World Cup at the round of 32 stage.
“If the goal is illegal, then Arsenal won’t be English champions,” Klopp claimed, speaking to MagentaTV. “They’ve scored 60% of their goals that way.
“We [Germany] win the game when the ball goes in. So, of course, this is brutal.”
What has Arsenal got to do with Germany unable to score more than one goal over 90 minutes. If they have to rely on one ref decision, then they don’t deserve to go through. They had 90minutes to score more goals and win the game. No excuse. Not the German side of old, and very slow, lazy and poor in their passing compared to their 80s and 90s team.
To mention Arsenal and not Germany’s poor performance, it seems the sort of thing a twisted bitter loser would say.
He has always talked nonsense, which makes him perfect for boring adverts instead of football punditry.
How the mighty have fallen by blaming others for Germany’s failings in breaking down a great Paraguay defence.
He should be a good sport and gentleman by showing a professional attitude by congratulating the best teams for winning, with that being Paraguay and Arsenal of course.
The German fans deserve better than poor excuses as Germany had 90minutes to win this game, not just one header disallowed. The team let the fans down.
