Man Utd duo doubts for Newcastle game through illness

Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw are doubts for Manchester United’s match against Newcastle.

United boss Michael Carrick says both “were not feeling great” during their win over Crystal Palace on Sunday and could miss out on Wednesday.

“We’ve still got a bit of time to the game, and we’ll just have to see how they feel,” Carrick said. “So we’ll give them every chance.

“We’re working towards it. They weren’t feeling too good, we’ve still got a bit of time to the game so we’ll see how they feel.

“It wasn’t injury, both weren’t feeling too good, so it’s one of those things really. We’ll see how they are.”
