Liverpool have cruised through this match. They have comfortably absorbed all of City’s pressure and scored the goals to secure a relatively easy three points. They are marching towards the Premier League title and nobody will catch them.

Any illusions that City were back after their 4-0 thrashing of Newcastle last weekend have been firmly put to bed. It was another toothless performance from the Blues today after their disappointing Champions League exit against Real Madrid in midweek.
