Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa has challenged Arsenal to prove that they are one of the favourites to win the Champions League this season by beating his side in their round of 16 clash.
The Gunners face the Portuguese side at the Estadio do Dragao in their round of 16 first leg on Wednesday night.
Mikel Arteta’s side go into the game in fine form having scored 11 goals in their last two games but Costa says they still have a lot to left to prove in Europe.
“Of course they have weak points,” he said.
“I’m not going to tell you what we’re going to do but we’re going to do our best job to win the game.
“If they are the favourites, they need to show us they are the favourite team to win.”
Costa was also asked how important captain Martin Odegaard could be for the Gunners, adding: “Of course, he’s a great player playing in a great league.
“But it’s not one guy that is going to do the whole job so we are focused on the whole team, not just one player.”
