Postecoglou reveals double boost for Spurs ahead of West Ham clash

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou says he hopes to have Heung Min-Son and Richarlison back available to face West Ham on Saturday.

Son has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, while Richarlison has played just twice this season because of a calf problem.

But Postecoglou is optimistic that both will be in the squad for this weekend’s London derby.

He told the club: “Son and Richarlison have done some good work and trained with the group which is a real positive for us.

“Sonny was always hopefully going to get through this international break and be ready, and Richy has done some good work so hopefully both are available for the weekend.

“The international guys, I think just about all of them got through okay, we’re just waiting on a couple to come back into the building.

“Lucas (Bergvall) was the only one who had a slight niggle but we’re hoping he’ll be okay.”

Postecoglou also says Wilson Odobert is progressing well in his recovery from a hamstring injury but is not yet ready to return.

“Wilson has also done some good work in the last couple of weeks and hopefully joins the main group sometime next week,” he added.
