Oliver Glasner says he had a long dinner with Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish after his comments following the defeat to Sunderland.

“Michael coming in is going to bring new ideas. Always the intensity rises up. You could see in Manchester, the kind of behaviours and the game that they played.
“We expect a really tough match and we will adapt to that for sure, but we are at home and we know how important that game is for us.”
David Moyes has confirmed “a big blow” for Everton as Jack Grealish has sustained a stress fracture in his foot.
Moyes said he could not give a timeframe for Grealish’s return.
Mikel Arteta says Calafiori and Hincapie could return this weekend.
“We have another training session. We will see tomorrow after that. After Inter we had no [injury] issues reported.”
“I’ve had numerous conversations with Cole and he seems very, very happy to be here. He is very happy to be here. He’s a huge part of our plans for the long term.”
Liam Rosenior on his Chelsea squad’s fitness.
“In terms of sickness, the players are coming back to full health,” said the Chelsea boss. “We had to be very careful with that. Thankfully the lads have come through that.
“Cole (Palmer) is in a good place, he joined training today which is really positive. [Filip] Jorgensen had his scan and it was positive. He won’t be available for Palace but might be for Napoli.”
Carrick has confirmed that Mathjis de Ligt is still sidelined this weekend.
“He had a bit of setback before I arrived, only small but he was a little bit slower than we would had liked. He’s getting closer and hopefully in the next couple of weeks he will be back and around it.”
Man Utd boss Michael Carrick on Arsenal: “Looking forward to the game, it’s a big challenge. They’re a very good team. They have so many strong points to their game, they are where they are for a reason, we’re fully aware of that.
“We’re in a good place and looking forward to the game. It’s where we want to be, with that energy and enthusiasm to go and be positive.”
“For the week or so it’s been so far it hasn’t happened just yet, the initial thoughts are what’s happening now. The important thing for me is any decision I make or the staff make is it’s not short-term, I’ve got a responsibility to whatever happens next I’ve got to make the right decision. As time goes on we’ll work our way through it.”
“Alex [Toth] is the only signing we have made for this weekend. But obviously, the club is working; they know we need more signings, and for other signings, we have to wait.
“He [Rayan] is a player that is not ours, so I cannot talk about it. We have a lot of interest in players, and we have to wait and see the signings we can make. Our situation is very difficult, we are thin, especially in the offensive positions, especially in the wings.
Wolves boss Rob Edwards on the reports that Leeds have had a bid rejected for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
“He’s been great, trained really well and will be part of the squad tomorrow.
“We’re under no pressure to sell. We want to try and be as strong as we can throughout the period unless we feel it’s the right thing, no one will go.
“No-one’s been knocking on my door [to leave], no-one, they’ve all show real desire and attitude to be here.”
Nico Gonzalez is likely to miss out again for Man City tomorrow, Guardiola says.
Meanwhile, Matheus Nunes will be assessed ahead of the game after suffering with illness of late.

“I know the reason why we are struggling now. I know 100%. It’s been 11 months. Give him more time. Our standards are so high and I know the reason why we are a little bit inconsistent.”
“He is a player for the national team and was a captain last season. I have a feeling yes, but the fragility is not just about one player. I know the solution and it’s not about one player.
“We cannot lose games. Man City is so perfect that we cannot lose games. It is what it is. We have to change the dynamic to try to win games tomorrow and Wednesday.”
Both Piero Hincapie and Riccardo Calafiori are back in training for Arsenal ahead of their match against Manchester United this weekend.
Kai Havertz was also spotted. Mikel Arteta is due to give further updates at 13:30.
“He does not have to apologise. He has to do his best and he is trying. If the team doesn’t win, it doesn’t belong to one player. It is not necessary.
“It is one of the groups of captains that Man City have had since I’ve been here. Many details for how they are close to the club and team.”
“Why do we talk about that subject again? Nothing is going to change. In Bodo, we had 11 players out. Aston Villa have a lot, Tottenham have a lot. It’s not just us. It’s a lot of games but how many times do we talk about that? It’s not going to change. He has a physicality to maintain.
“We were in Newcastle one week ago and we won 2-0. In my opinion, against Bodo, we missed the chances that we had and the long balls, we were not aggressive enough. We conceded two goals in two minutes. We had chances with the Max Alleyne header.
“I’m not talking about the game against United. In the game against Bodo, I did not have that feeling.”
“The best team right now in the world. Look in the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup. Hopefully, we can be close and hope they give us one chance to get them.”
“Nunes has the virus so we have to see what the doctors say. Nico, I don’t think so.”
Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Marc Guehi will make his Manchester City debut against Wolves tomorrow.
“I’ve got five months left and we need to see what the option is to stay or if there’s options to go and things like that,” Robertson said. “I need to sit down with my family and decide.
“After a stressful summer, I’m just trying to enjoy being a part of it and being a Liverpool player.
“I wanted to qualify for the World Cup and thankfully, we’ve managed to do that. I need to see what myself and my family wants going forward.”
