Recent results "really disappointing" for Amorim

Following recent poor form, most recently a loss to 10-man Everton, Amorim said the downturn has come after Man United lost control of games they should have won:

“I look at the games, we should have more points. Because we had control of some games we had the advantage in some games and we lost that control.”

“If I look at our games we should have more points and that is really disappointing and really frustrating, especially the last game,” he added

Moyes wants more from Grealish

David Moyes has suggested that despite Grealish’s form this season there is more to come from the City loanee.

“I do [think he can reach another level]. I would be lying if I said I am completely happy. I want him to score more goals actually. I need him to come up with more goals,” he said.

“If he keeps doing the assists then it’s OK but I think goals are still the bigger thing – more than assists.”

Gueye will sit out tomorrow's game

Everton’s appeal to overturn the suspension of Gueye after his dramatic exit on Monday night has been rejected confirms Moyes.

Nuno prepared to face "champions of the Premier League"

Struggling Liverpool will travel to the London Stadium to face struggling West Ham on Sunday.

Despite their recent downturn in form, West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo maintains the defending champions are still a “good team.”

“In football, what matters is what you do on the day. What we expect is [to play against] the champions of the Premier League, players that are talented and capable of doing good things.”

Arteta on Rice's Ballon d'Or hopes

Asked if Declan Rice could win the Ballon d’Or next year:

“I hope so, that would mean we have won a lot. I think he has been immense from the start of the season. He is an incredible and crucial player for us.”

"Too early" for title talk, says Maresca

Marseca has said he isn’t thinking about the title just yet:

“Too early in any case, if we win or don’t. Still end of November, still five, six months to go. More important in February, March, then from there we decide if you can achieve something important.”

Arteta on Sunday's "challenge"

Despite Arsenal’s very good form recently at Stamford Bridge, Arteta acknowledged the “challenge” of facing a Chelsea side in “really good form”:

“It’s a big game, it is a big London derby. They are in really good form. We know the challenge and the opportunity we have on Sunday, so we are fully ready.”

Maresca excited for his "best player" to return

The Chelsea boss was full of praise for Cole Palmer ahead of his return, dubbing him the “best player” in his squad:

“He is our best player, we are happy he is back, we need to give him time to be 100% fit.”

“He has done fantastic in the past and no doubt he is going to do very good for this club in the future,” he added

Maresca confirms Palmer 'available to start' against Arsenal

Amorim gives injury update for trio

Ruben Amorim has confirmed Benjamin Sesko, Harry Maguire and Matheus Cunha will all miss the trip to Crystal Palace this weekend:

“Sesko [needs] a little bit more time. Harry [Maguire] the same. Matheus the next one [game], not this one.”

Guardiola on the gap to Arsenal

“I know the distance is already there and Arsenal is so strong, we see it game by game they are getting better and better as a team.”

Reliance on Haaland?

Guardiola also says his side’s reliance on Erling Haaland for goals is “not the main concern” he has.

Guardiola hopes Bernardo will stay

Asked about Bernardo Silva’s future, Pep Guardiola says he would be delighted if the midfielder stayed beyond the end of this season, when his current contract is up.

Rodri still out

Pep Guardiola has arrived. He says Rodri is still unavailable for this weekend’s game against Leeds but that the midfielder is not too far away from returning.

Newcastle's poor away record ahead of Everton

Newcastle are winless in nine Premier League away games (D4 L5), but only Arsenal and Crystal Palace (3 each) have conceded fewer first half goals than the Magpies (4).

Man City also formidable at home

Man City have won each of their last five Premier League games at the Etihad by an aggregate score of 16-2 and are looking to win their sixth consecutive home league game by at least 2+ goals.

Brentford brilliant at home

Only Arsenal and Man City have won more home games (5 each) and scored more home goals (16 each) than Brentford in the Premier League this season (4 wins, 12 goals).

Upcoming press conferences

We still have press conferences to come from Pep Guardiola, Mikel Arteta, Enzo Maresca and Ruben Amorim!

Iraola on Bournemouth's recent form

“The other day was a very good performance from our side, but we have to look at the reasons why we didn’t win the game, because we conceded two goals. Even against Aston Villa, we conceded four goals.

“I don’t think we conceded as many chances to concede that many goals. So we have to reduce the number of goals we are conceding; otherwise, even if you play, it becomes difficult to win games.”
