Declan Rice believes there could be another surprise in the Premier League title race as Arsenal go four points clear of Manchester City after beating Bournemouth 3-0.
Pep Guardiola’s side do have two games in hand, against Wolves later today and then against Fulham next week- with the reigning champions favourites to make it a record four Premier League titles in a row.
City gained the initiative in the title race after Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa last month, but the Gunners are still in with a chance following a commanding 3-0 win over Bournemouth this afternoon which has opened up a four-point lead over City at the top of the table.
Rice was Arsenal’s standout player on the day and he told TNT Sports after the game that ‘surprises and miracles’ can happen between now and the end of the season.
He said: “I wasn’t here last year but I can sense that we are embracing it. Man City are a machine and they don’t lose many. Anything can happen in football.

On Arsenal’s performance today: “”I think you see it in the first half, it was domination. We could have been up four or five. I knew there was an opportunity for me to score, assist and even for my goal there I sensed it. Goal, assist and three points, just what we needed.
“I do like assisting. It just feels great. It was a big result. They have been some form and are a top team and we knew today it was business and we had to handle it.
“You looked back at the Villa game the other week when we had a few in the first half. We could have done with the second half being less like a basketball match. It now leads into the game next week and we are ready for it.”
