Tottenham defender Destiny Udogie will be out until next month with a hamstring injury, boss Thomas Frank has confirmed.

The Italian missed the win over Brentford on Saturday and has been ruled out for several weeks.

“Destiny unfortunately picked up a hamstring injury in the Newcastle game and he’s out until January,” Frank said.

Frank also says Brennan Johnson is a doubt for the Champions League clash with Slavia Prague, having not trained ahead of the game.

But Frank remained coy on when Dejan Kulusevski could return from his long-term knee injury.

“I will confirm when he’s available for the squad,” he said. “The recovery, there’s a plan for everything.”
