Thanks for following our live blog tonight!
An encouraging performance from Spurs but it’s still all to play for next week following a 1-1 draw.
Watch Postecoglou’s full post-match press conference here:
Postecoglou says he is hugely excited by the development of Lucas Bergvall this season and backs him to be a “big player” for Spurs in the next few years.
Postecoglou says Dejan Kulusevski and Kevin Danso are due to return to training later this week or early next.
He adds that Kulusevski has a chance to be involved in the second leg, but won’t start.
Postecoglou: “I thought Destiny was outstanding in terms of his running capacity.”
“I had a feeling they wouldn’t be too expansive and they’d play quite conservatively.”
He adds that their goalkeeper had a “ridiculous” game. “We hit the bar three times I think.”
Ange Postecoglou speaking to TNT Sports: “I can’t ask any more from the lads. I thought the performance was good.”
And that’s that!
Tottenham and Frankfurt head into the second leg on level terms.
The hosts should have won the game, but could not finish their chances.
What a save from Kaua Santos to stop Micky van de Ven from winning it!
Last chance for Spurs? They have a free kick in a dangerous position.
Can Uzun and Niels Nkounkou come on for Nathaniel Brown and Mario Gotze.
There will be another three minutes to play.
Hugo Ekitike is replaced by Elye Wahi.
Dominic Solanke comes off for Richarlison.
Dominic Solanke should have done better there.
The ball falls for him in a shooting position, but the striker keeps running wide before his ball into the box is claimed by Santos.
Mathys Tel is booked for his protests after Tottenham are denied a clear corner.
What a glorious chance for Spurs to take the lead!
Substitutes Tel and Spence combine down the lefthand side, with the latter cutting the ball back for Brennan Johnson, who smashes the ball high and wide of the goal.
Pedro Porro and Nathaniel Brown are down after a clash of heads.
A triple change for Spurs.
James Maddison, Destiny Udogie and Son Heung-min are all off.
The trio is replaced by Djed Spence, Pape Sarr and Mathys Tel.
Some much needed changes incoming…
This game is looking destined to end a draw, with both sides cancelling each other out.
Rasmus Kristensen is shown a yellow card for taking out Destiny Udogie.
Bahoya is off, he is replaced by Fares Chaibi.
Controlled build-up again from Spurs, as they continue to dominate this second half.
Bergvall loses the ball in the middle of the pitch to allow Frankfurt some restbite.
Bahoya scoops the ball over the bar after Mario Gotze had flicked the ball into the winger’s path.
Still level with plenty of the game left.
