Randal Kolo Muani could make his first Premier League appearance for Tottenham against Aston Villa.
The forward has played just once, in the Champions League, for the club since arriving on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
He has been struggling with a leg injury of late but Spurs boss Thomas Frank says he is back available for Sunday’s game.
“Kolo Muani has trained now for two weeks with the team so that’s good,” Frank said.
“He looks better and better and he will be in contention for the squad for tomorrow, so that’s positive.
“It’s very important to have him fit and available. I think he looks better and better.
“He had a strange two weeks with the team when he came in September and still needed a bit (of time) to get to a higher level.
“It’s not to say he can’t be involved tomorrow and he can maybe play minutes but I think it’s fair to say he needs a bit of time to get fully firing.”
Dominic Solanke remains sidelined, however, with the forward undergoing individual training following ankle surgery.
“Dom has progressed well after the surgery,” Frank said.
“He’s progressing so that’s good.”
Yves Bissouma is also out for the longer term after suffering an ankle injury while playing for Mali.
“Biss unfortunately had a situation with the national team, I think everyone saw that,” Frank said.
“He’s got a ligament injury to his ankle that will keep him out for weeks.”
