Ange Postecoglou is asked for his thoughts on Tottenham’s season: “How do I assess our season? Outstanding!
“We won a trophy which we haven’t for 17 years and we’re in the Champions League. Ask anyone supporter at start of the season if they’d take that and there wouldn’t be a person in the house that wouldn’t.”
The referee blows the final whistle leaving the Brighton players jubilant and leaving Spurs in 17th position to end the season.
Diego Gomez has scored a stunner.
He picks up the ball 25 yards out and he curls it delightfully into the top corner.

The resulting corner deflects around the Spurs area off of Kevin Danso before arriving at the feet of Jack Hinshelwood again.

Kevin Danso bails out Spurs after Minteh was played through on goal for Brighton. The Austrian did well to block the shot.
Mathys Tel beats Wieffer down the left before playing the ball across to Brennan Johnson in the centre of the area but he fires wide.
