Ange Postecoglou says there is “nothing wrong” with Spurs team-mates Cristian Romero and Emerson Royal having a half-time row in their defeat to Liverpool.
The Tottenham duo were pictured having heated words with each other with their side 2-0 down at the break.
Postecoglou’s side would go on to lose 4-2, with Mo Salah, Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo and Harvey Elliot putting the Reds four up before Richarlison and Son-Heung Min got two goals back for the away side.
But the Spurs boss says the argument between Romero and Royal shows the players both care about improving the poor run of form, with this being their fourth defeat on the bounce.
"I don't mind that kind of behaviour but they should have that aggression in their defending"

“I didn’t see it but as I’ve said to others, they care mate,” Postecoglou said.
“It hurts them. They’re not going to just be happy with the current situation and because they care they want it to improve.
“There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that as long as it’s done in a constructive way.
“The players who I’ve been told were involved, they care, and they want to change the situation.”
